maple-glazed salmon.

let me start by saying i hate maple syrup, so to everyone who feels the same way, don't disregard this recipe so fast. last night i made this for dinner for matt and i and though i was very skeptical about the maple syrup it was amazing, by far the one of the best salmon dishes i have ever cooked for us. hope everyone has a great thursday! enjoy!

Ingredients
4 (6 oz) salmon filets
1/2 cup maple syrup
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp black pepper

Preparation
1. Preheat the oven broiler.

2. Heat a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the syrup and mustard and bring to a boil.

3. Reduce heat and simmer until the glaze is slightly thickened (about 3-5 minutes). Remove of the heat and set aside.

4. Line a baking dish with foil and place salmon inside.
5. Coat the salmon with the glaze and broil until the salmon flakes easily (about 6-8 minutes).
