thanksgiving table.

though i have cooked before for thanksgiving this will be the first time we will actually officially be hosting thanksgiving at our new home. i have been perfecting the menu for the last few days, but to be honest the food is my last concern, my mind is focused on decor and table settings.

before i can think about turkeys, i only have 100+ things i need to get down around the house first. we have been settled for a few months, but walls are still bare and i am still debating all the little details. but before i go off on that, i have been dreaming of how i will decorate dining area. after the great table debate of 2013, i am excited to show off the space.

overall, i want to keep it simple and classic and making sure the table setting doesn't distract from the amazing meal but enhance it.

here is some of my favorite inspiration i have been gathering.

see a theme? i really want the table setting to feel like it belongs in our home and ties into the rest of our decor. i am not big into themes and want to buy pieces i can reuse for years to come.

{thecouturelife} thanksgiving tablesetting.

and because i have been dreaming about them for a year now, i will be taking a cue from rhi over at hey gorgeous events and adding some gold artichokes into the mix.

i am still fine tuning but overall i really like the direction i am headed in!
