{wedding wednesday} real life inspiration.

happy leap day! i don't know about where you live but the weather is miserable here today, but i am looking forward to 70s tomorrow so a little rain ain't too bad.

happy wedding wednesday! on the wedding front i have been diligently working on our program in preparation for our meeting with our officiant tomorrow. as i mentioned here i knew the look of the program from day one, but the content has been the tricky part.  once he approves the content, it will go to the alters guild and organist for approval and then we can order! it is definitely a process, and every church handles it differently, but i am excited to finally be almost done! there are great resources and samples all over the web.

also, a HUGE milestone with our wedding invitations arrived, so i will be spending the next few weeks prepping them to be dropped in the mail. it will involve lots of stamping, ribbon tying, envelope sealing, and list checking and double checking. hopefully i will make it out alive with only a few paper cuts! any volunteers to help???.....i didn't think so.

when i saw this wedding from style me pretty in my google reader, i almost died. i love the muted soft colors, the brides gorgeous vera wang gown, the crisply dressed wedding party. to me it is the perfect nod to tradition with a whimsical spin.

it makes me want corn hole in the courtyard for our wedding. get building matt!
